All Men Must Dine! Game of Thrones pop-up restaurant to open in London

As Eddard Stark would put it: “Dinner is Coming!” and this time London will be in the middle of the action.

To celebrate the release of the fourth Game of Thrones season on Blu-ray, HBO are opening a pop-up restaurant for three days only at the Andaz Liverpool Street hotel. The restaurant will open on Friday 13th February and people can enter a competition to wins seats at the table.

The banquet – which is said to be fit for a King – will consist of five courses, most probably meat-based, and will include dishes like The Lies of Tyrion Lanninster and his Proclaimed Innocence – which apparently is “Poached Veal-Tongue with Beetroot, Horseradish and Oldtown Mustard”.

Nobody knows how many people will be lucky enough to experience such a feast, but there’re rumours that it’s going to be a small, intimate affair given the numerous references to the Small Council. Catering will be provided by The Wandering Chef, two London chefs famous for their meat-cooking prowess and for using unusual cuts of meat in their succulent, bloody dishes.

Good luck entering the competition: we really hope there won’t be any poisonings or suspicion deaths at the banquet!
