Kanye West is the talk of the Grammys for all the wrong reasons
Remember when this happened?
Kanye West is probably Beyonce’s biggest fan judging by how upset he got that the Single Ladies singer was trumped by Taylor Swift at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards as he took to the stage to vent his anger, making pretty much everyone cringe, including Beyonce.
We were expecting another repeat performance as Kanye lept on stage when rock singer Beck won Best Album at last night’s Grammys pipping pal Beyonce to the post but the rapper smiled and quickly jumped back down as Beck looked baffled and appeared to be looking around for help.
While everyone got a good laugh at Kayne’s little prank, things weren’t so funny later as West told E! that he was actually pretty angry about Beck winning the award and how he should have given his award to Beyonce. Uh oh…
Speaking to Gawker, Kanye said: “The Grammys, if they want real artists to come back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain’t gonna play with them no more. Flawless, Beyoncé video, and Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé. And at this point, we tired of it because what happens is, when you keep on diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration.”

As always you can always count on Twitter to give the best reactions to Kanye’s rant. Here we look at our favourites:
Tonight at the Grammy's, Kanye West acted like Kanye West. In other news, other predictable things.

Can Kanye West disappear any further up his own arse? The guy is a talent but comes across as such a pretentious dick.

Kanye West takes "white knighting" to a super gross and painfully arrogant level. Gotta stay relevant somehow though, right?

I always refrain from posting negativity online but @kanyewest needs to just disappear. We are sick of his arrogant rants and opinions.
