Talented Teenager Designs Dresses That Look Fit For A Disney Princess
Eighteen-year-old costumer designer Angela Clayton first started sewing when she developed an interested in cosplay 3 years ago and whilst she doesn’t attend the events so often her interest in designing beautiful costumes has turned into something quite special.
“I hope that there is a future career that I will get out of it,” Clayton told Cosmo. “I love making costumes and I love bringing ideas to life. If I could do that for fashion, especially for theater or film, that would be awesome…I would rather go straight into that if I can instead of spending four years at school.”
Clayton can spend as long as 250 hours on her creations.
The first thing she designed was an anime costume for a cosplay event when she was just 14 and it took her around 2 months from start to finish.
Her passion started from her love of costumes she saw online but couldn’t afford, so she made her own.
