This Sainsbury’s Christmas ad parody is better than the original
As everybody knows, John Lewis is king when it comes to Christmas marketing, but it looks like this year the crown has been passed on to Sainsbury’s with its WWI-themed tear-jerking commercial.
This parody, created by YouTube comedians The Hot Gulp, narrates the “heartwarming tale of two rival factions putting aside their differences on Christmas Day.”
In this case, the two factions are Sainsbury’s and Tesco of course.
We’re left wondering what the Waitrose staff would do in such a situation; for starters, we think that chocolate would’ve been fair trade and organic.
